BladeVerdict is an independent review site about Japanese kitchen knives, published at best-japanese-knife.com. References to "we", "us" and "our" in this policy mean BladeVerdict.

What we collect

BladeVerdict is a content website and does not require you to create an account or submit personal information to read it. We do not knowingly collect names, email addresses or payment details through this site. The limited data we may process is:

• Standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, used to keep the site secure and working.
• Anonymous analytics, if enabled, to understand which pages are useful. These are aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
• Affiliate referral data, when you click an affiliate link, so the retailer can attribute a qualifying purchase to us. This is handled by the retailer (for example Amazon) under their own privacy policy.

When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, you leave our site and their privacy policy applies to your activity there. We have no access to your account, basket or payment details on those sites. We do not sell your data to anyone.
